Finished the conversion to 3.3.14 !!
The path was 2.0.21 -> 3.0.7-pl1 -> 3.0.14 -> 3.1.12 -> 3.3.14
Used the Support toolkit on 3.0.14 to clean the database and other minor work.
Some character encoding mismatch in the database is making some issues with languages like German. On my first conversion series I was able to use SQL in phpmyadmin to repair it but this time so far the encoding might be to far gone.
Also seems to be the attachments are not quite synced with the 400 M
For anyone doing a similar conversion a reminder to be PATIENT during the database conversions and updates. Sometimes can look like it's stuck but found out just letting the updater run that they do finish and I've mostly had good results. Get a cup of coffee or tea and wait....
Now I am much better at such a conversion and may do it again to see about the database encoding repair and smoother sync to the attachments.
