Installed it on phpBB 3.3.12 with PHP 7.4.27.
Installed just fine.
it's a user (and group) permission.
Fiddled around with some topics, marking a post unread on page 2 or 3, then moving to other topics to do the same.

The topic is thus marked as unread and using Quick Links the reader is brought to the unread topic, but not to the latest post, nor to the opening post, but to the oldest "unread" post in that topic (a post previously marked as unread).

As such, when reading a long topic and having to leave, it's quite useful to be able to navigate to the last read post in a topic (not that it's something absolutely necessary).

Well? It's not a native permission so I don't quite see how else it could be achieved (as I doubt this feature stands any chance of becoming a native (default) feature).
