I am very new to phpBB still and am needing to upgrade from 3.3.1 to 3.3.12. I have done some searching and haven't seen a straightforward list of steps/tutorial on how to do this, just posts where someone is having a specific issue while upgrading. I have a little bit of experience working with the program (I can install extensions and do basic things in ACP, that's about it). I have no idea of how to even begin upgrading to the newest version other than knowing I need to save a backup because I am terrified of messing this up.
Can someone please walk me through how to do the upgrade or point me towards a good resource on how to do this (preferably step-by-step, dummy edition)?
