- Live topic update: https://github.com/GerB/livetopicupdate
- Push notifications: https://github.com/lavigor/notifications. I'm planning to try it at some point, as it seems to be much more in line with my own needs.
I haven't really checked out your forum yet, but I'll take a look. In the same vein I am also using an infinite scroll extension which is really nice (if not perfect, but the original developer has moved on from it afaict), let me know if you want it.
I am running a forum for visual artists, and expanding into audio soon as it's of interest to quite a few users (including myself dusting off my own audio gear again).I wanted to try it at some point but no concert plans at the moment. I'm not entirely sure what kind of interaction it would be either, perhaps a prompt plus sound clip (starter)? I somewhat doubt it will be an interesting topic for most phpBB board owners.
I'd guess that the two most common use cases would be sample generation from text prompts (or editing, indeed with sound clip attachment), and text-to-speech using AI.
