[3.3.x] Support Forum • Allow guests to post?

My BB has been hosted on Bluehost for a few weeks and I'm close to going live (relatively speaking). I have two forums that are open for moderated posting by unregistered users - for people looking to buy or rent a house in the community. People calling the management office or looking at our website for referrals will be directed to the BB where those forums will have topics from people looking to rent or sell, and the guests can post that they are looking to buy or rent.

I managed to get my first spam post, apparently in Russian, before I've even gone live. It correctly showed up in my moderator queue and I disapproved it. Even with moderation, perhaps it's a bad idea to allow guests to post? A few spams here and there would be ok, but I don't want to get inundated.

My registration is manual, so I'm not (too) worried about spam getting through an automated registration procedure, but I think it's a bigger pain to have to approve legitimate requestors than to moderate the occasional spam post. Registered users have at least read access to all the other forums, so I'd probably have to create another group that has Never privileges to the other forums and place the these now-registered folks in that group.

I guess my question is, how many spam posts will I likely get in those two forums? I've read so much about spam that I'm somewhat leery of leaving an open forum, even if the posts must be moderated.
