Hi guys,
I'm aware of the support template but since I've narrowed down my issue I've just skipped using it but can provide it if necessary. I was getting a login failure with the message in the title and I've narrowed it down to cloudflares cache since if I disable this option I can login normally and cookies function normally.
With Cloudflare caching active, login is only possible through mobile devices (Though I'm not entirely sure why), attempts through any PC or PC browser result in the invalid form data message.
Since PHPBB does utilise it's own cache, is there even any purpose of caching the forum part of my website through Cloudflare?
As I said, I've found the source of the issue and a solution that does, so it's just figuring out where to go with it from here.
Though I don't think it may be relevant, I have PHPBB sharing a login cookie for other parts of my website. Cookie domain is currently set to .my.domain
Many thanks,
Mascotte45
Edit: Been playing around with this a little bit more and here's what I've learned:
When Cloudflare cachingis active:
- Login via forum.my.domain is only possible on mobile devices
- PC devices return an error about invalid submitted data
Login via my.domain/forum is still possible on all devices
When caching is not active
- No errors
- Login functioning on true path and subdomain
