The upgrade is fairly straight forward, as long as you follow the directions step by step you shouldn't have any problems. If you manage to break something step one and two in the directions is backup your database and files so you just revert to them.Is it possible to try/test the upgrade in parallel? in other words can we do the upgrade to a copy to see what breaks?
