Please describe your problem. I noticed that emails were stalling today for a few hours. I checked and SMTP worked fine, I could get the notification message no problem. I saw in the forums that in case there were issues, to try package_size=0. I changed it (it was 400 before) and also reduced the maximum recipient count to 100. Suddenly mails started to flood in. I didn't see the mails going out on the EXIM mail logs, which means (I assume) that they were stalling on the phpBB side. No certificate issues and I didn't see any errors on the error_list.
I've been running like this (with 400/400) for ages and no issues whatsoever, what made it suddenly problematic? What does it mean that package size is now 0?
And, why does the phpbb_notification_emails table still have >1000 notifications still in it?
one more thing. I've recently moved to php 8.2 (from php 7.4), I haven't updated to phpbb 3.3.13 yet, but I did see this patch, but I think I should have seen an error somewhere if this was my issue... https://github.com/phpbb/phpbb/pull/6705/commits
